First Year Junior College (F.Y.J.C.)

  • Eligibility conditions for admission to First Year of the Junior College (F.Y.J.C.) (XIth Standard)

    • A candidate who has been declared successful in the S.S.C./Xth std. equivalent examination is eligible for admission to the first year of junior college, which is equivalent to XIth std.
    • Fees:

    Documents to be submitted for admission to First Year of the Junior Collee (F.Y.J.C.) (XIth std.)

    1. All the candidates must submit the following:
    2. Copy of the F.Y.J.C. Online Registration form.
    3. Photocopy of mark sheet of S.S.C./Xth std. equivalent examination.
    4. Original and self-attested photocopy of the S.S.C./Xth std. equivalent Leaving Certificate.
    5. Photocopy of valid caste certificate, if belonging to any reserved category.
    6. Photocopies of Certificate of Learning Disability (L.D.) & that of being Physically Challenged (if applicable).
    7. Photocopy of Blood Group Report.
    8. Photocopy of Aadhar Card.
    9. Photocopy of valid address proof (Electricity / Telephone Bill or any other)
    10. Parents’ (Mother and Father) / Guardian’s passport size photograph
    11. Additional documents to be submitted by candidates who have passed the Xth std. equivalent from boards other than Maharashtra State Board:
    12. Original and photocopies of mark sheet and Passing certificate of S.S.C./Xth Std. equivalent examination
    13. Original and photocopy of S.S.C. /Xth std. equivalent Leaving / Transference Certificate with Counter Signature from the Zilla Parishad’s office from the respective zones to which the candidate belongs.
    14. Original and photocopy of Migration Certificate.
    15. Duly filled application form for obtaining Eligibility Certificate (Form to be obtained from Maharashtra State Board Office at Vashi, Navi Mumbai)
    16. Undertaking on the Stamp Paper (as per the format provided in the application form for obtaining Eligibility Certificate)
    17. Eligibility Fees – Rs. 300/- (for Indian Candidates) and Rs. 500/- (for NRI Candidates).
    18. Additional documents to be submitted by a Girl candidate who wishes to apply for Girls Freeship(Kindly note applications for Girls Freeship are considered only up to the second child and for Maharashtra State Candidates Only).
    19. Photocopy of Ration Card (first and last page). The candidate’s name and date of issue should be legible on the ration card and also reveal that the candidate is at least fifteen years old and this information should be underlined in the photocopy of the Ration Card.

    OR

    1. Photocopy of Domicile certificate of the candidate.
    2. Duly filled declaration form (Form available at the College office, counter no. 1)

Second Year Junior College (S.Y.J.C.) (XIIth Standard)

Eligibility conditions for students of Tolani College and of Colleges affiliated to the Maharashtra State Board for promotion to Second Year Junior College (S.Y.J.C.)

1) The student should have passed the XIth standard (F.Y.J.C.) examination.
2) The overall percentage of marks secured should be 35%  or more and also should have secured 35% or more marks in all the subjects.

Eligibility conditions for admission to S.Y.J.C. for candidates from boards other than Maharashtra State Board

  • A candidate who has passed Standard XI from any recognised Board can seek admission to S.Y.J.C. subject to availability of seats and fulfilment of eligibility conditions.

 Documents to be submitted for admission to Second Year of the Junior College (S.Y.J.C.)

All students must submit

  1. Duly filled S.Y.J.C. admission form
  2. One passport size photograph and 4 stamp size photographs
  3. One stamp size photograph of Guardian / Mother and Father

 Students of Tolani College of Commerce

  Self-attested photocopy  of  F.Y.J.C. report card .

  1. Candidates from other Colleges affiliated to Maharashtra State Board (Fresh Applicants)
  2. One self-attested photocopy of the mark sheet of S.S.C./Xth std. equivalent examination.
  3. One self-attested copy of F.Y.J.C. report card.
  4. Original School/College Leaving Certificate with one self-attested photocopy.
  5. No Objection Certificate signed by the Principal of the previous institution.
  6. Students seeking admission under the Linguistic (Sindhi) Minority Quota are required to submit an affidavit on stamp paper of Rs.100/-, certified by a Notary stating that they belong to the Sindhi Minority community.
  7. Students belonging to any of the Reserved Categories are required to submit a self-attested copy of the relevant certificate/document for College records.
  8. Candidates from schools/colleges affiliated to boards other than the Maharashtra State Board (Fresh Applicants)
  9. Two self-attested photocopies of mark sheet of Xth std. equivalent examination.
  10. Two self-attested photocopies of mark sheet of XIth std. equivalent examination.
  11. Original School/College Leaving Certificate / Transfer certificate (with counter signature by appropriate educational authority), with two self-attested photocopies.
  12. Students seeking admission under the Linguistic (Sindhi) Minority Quota are required to submit an affidavit on stamp paper of Rs.100/-, certified by a Notary stating that they belong to the Sindhi Minority Community.
  13. Students belonging to any of the Reserved Categories are required to submit a self-attested copy of the relevant certificate/ document for College records.
  14. Application for provisional eligibility certificate (prescribed form available at the College office).
  15. Original Passing Certificate issued by the relevant Board with two self-attested copies.
  16. Deed of undertaking on stamp paper of Rs.100/- (format is part of the form for provisional eligibility certificate mentioned under point 5 above).
  17. Migration Certificate (in case there is no practice of issuing migration certificate by the Board, the candidate shall produce a letter to that effect from the Board).
  18. Foreign students have to submit a duly filled ‘Appendix A’ form, which is available in the College office.
