Fee Structure as prescribed by University of Mumbai

Admission rules for Foreign/International Students (Foreign Residents/Students (FR/S), Person of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), SAARC Students & Non-Resident Indian (NRI)

Candidates falling under any of the above mentioned categories of International Students have to apply to the University of Mumbai and cannot apply directly to the College for admission to any of the postgraduate programs. (For admissions rules of University of Mumbai Click here).

Documents to be submitted for admission to the first year of the postgraduate programs

  • All the candidates must submit the following:
  1. Photocopies of the mark sheets and Passing Certificates of third year Undergraduate Programs (Semester – V & VI) for admission to first year.
  2. Photocopies of Leaving Certificates of S.S.C./Xth std. equivalent and H.S.C./XIIth std. equivalent.
  1. Photocopies of Certificate of Learning Disability (L.D). & that of being Physically Challenged (if applicable).
  1. Photocopy of Blood Group Report.
  2. Photocopy of Aadhar Card.
  3. Photocopy of valid caste certificate, if belonging to any reserved category
  • Additional documents to be submitted by the candidates who have completed the Third Year of the undergraduate program from another college affiliated to University of Mumbai (Fresh Applicants):
  1. Undertaking to be given by the candidate to submit the following documents from the previous college (where the candidate has completed Third Year of the Undergraduate Program) within one month from the date of admission:
    1.  M.K.C.L. online Transference Certificate
    2.  Eligibility Status Report (giving details of confirmation of enrolment/eligibility)

                        Till such time, the candidate’s admission will remain purely on provisional basis. 

  • Additional documents to be submitted by candidates who have completed the Third Year of the undergraduate program from another college, which is NOT affiliated to University of Mumbai (Fresh Applicants):
  • Mark sheets of lower examination verified by and bearing the stamp of the concerned Board/University. 
  • Transference Certificate from the previous College 
  • Migration Certificate (if there is no practice of issuing Migration Certificate by the Board, the candidate shall produce a letter to this effect from the Board)
  • A letter from the Eligibility section of University of Mumbai for prima facie eligibility of the candidate for admission.
  • Candidates from Institute of Distance and Open Learning affiliated to University of Mumbai (IDOL)

Undertaking to be given by the candidate to submit Transference Certificate from IDOL   within one month from the date of admission

Till such time, the candidate’s admission will remain purely on provisional basis. 

  • Candidates belonging to SC, ST, DT, NT, OBC & SBC categories of Maharashtra State who wish to apply for scholarship/freeship are requested to bring the following documents and should contact Mr. Prakash V. Dalvi, Superintendent, before paying their fees: (Note: Students belonging to any of the reserved categories only of Maharashtra State are eligible for the scholarship)
  1. Photocopy of Aadhar Card
  2. Photocopy of valid Caste Certificate issued (Maharashtra State Only)
  3. Income Certificate issued by Tahsildar’s Office, Mumbai.
  4. Photocopy of Ration Card.
  5. Photocopies of mark sheets of examination of S.S.C./Xth std equivalent, H.S.C./XIIth std equivalent, and previous years of the undergraduate program.
  6. Savings Bank Account in either Union Bank or Corporation Bank has to be opened and the Account details have to be submitted.

Eligibility for promotion to second year of M.Com. programs for students of Tolani College and of other Colleges affiliated to University of Mumbai: (Click here) 

Eligibility conditions for admission to Second Year of the postgraduate programs for students from other Universities: 

  • Students who have passed the first year of an equivalent program from a UGC recognized University/College will be eligible for admission to the second year of the undergraduate programs. The College will give provisional admission subject to availability of seats. The admission will be confirmed only when the University of Mumbai approves the admission.

Documents to be submitted at the time of admission to second year of the undergraduate programs

  • All students who are eligible for admission must submit the following:
  1. Photocopies of the mark sheets and Passing Certificates of third year Undergraduate Programs (Semester – V & VI) for admission to first year.
  2. Photocopies of the mark sheets of First Year of the postgraduate program (Semester – I & II).
  3. Photocopies of Leaving Certificates of S.S.C./Xth std. equivalent and H.S.C./XIIth std. equivalent.
  1. Photocopies of Certificate of Learning Disability (L.D). & that of being Physically Challenged (if applicable).
  1. Photocopy of Blood Group Report.
  2. Photocopy of Aadhar Card.
  3. Photocopy of valid caste certificate, if belonging to any reserved category
  • Additional documents to be submitted by the candidates who have completed first Year of the postgraduate program from another college affiliated to University of Mumbai (Fresh Applicants):
  • No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the College from where the candidate has completed the first year of the postgraduate program (PRN number has to be mentioned on the NOC)
  1. Undertaking to be given by the candidate to submit the following documents from the previous college (where the candidate has completed First Year of the Post graduate Program) within one month from the date of admission:
    1.  M.K.C.L. online Transference Certificate   (with T.C. Code and PRN number mentioned on it)
    2.  Eligibility Status Report (giving details of confirmation of enrolment/eligibility) 

                        Till such time, the candidate’s admission will remain purely on provisional basis. 

  • Additional documents to be submitted by candidates who have completed the First Year of the postgraduate program from another college, which is NOT affiliated to University of Mumbai (Fresh Applicants):


  • Mark sheets of lower examination verified by and bearing the stamp of the concerned Board/University.

Cancellation of admission

The College strictly follows the rules and guidelines pertaining to cancellation of admissions of Maharashtra State Board for junior college and of University of Mumbai for cancellation of admissions of undergraduate & post graduate programs.
